We are looking for an experienced Senior Loss Adjustor to work/cover the South West and South Wales area for an expanding Claims Management Company with the head office being based in Nottingham. The successful individual needs to be based in the South West region and have a full and clean driving licence. We are looking for a person who can work with the company Managing Director, assist in running large value claims whilst also managing and developing an existing small team of adjusters.

Job Description:

Oversight and day to day management of a team of loss adjusters
Reviewing and agreeing reports prior to formal submission to insurers
Development and support of existing team of adjusters
Travelling to loss sites to investigate claims and support policyholders
Deal with major loss / technical claims of large value
Assist adjusting team on technical claims and provide guidance as required
Liaising with insurers / underwriters
Assessing claims in line with policy conditions
Providing detailed reports with recommendations on liability
Formal interviews of claimants where required
Investigating and reporting suspected fraudulent claims
Obtain reports from third parties, such as building surveyors etc
Validation of items claimed
Working closely with the Managing Director & claims team
Ensuring the highest service level is provided to all customers

Experience Required:

Extensive experience required at a Senior level and qualified to Dip CILA or equivalent.

Remuneration / Benefits – Specifics negotiable
